So many people are always saying I’m a lover not a fighter and I’m one of those people. If I need to defend myself I will but I wasn’t the type to just go out and get into fights. So it was my sophomore year in high school and back then I was a little reckless and just didn’t care. There was this boy named Taz that was so cute, so I would flirt with him.We had 7th period art class together so that is when we would talk most of the time. I found out sometime later that he had a girlfriend and I was shocked. One day I’m in class and I’m talking to my friend about the whole thing and she tells me what she looks like and her name Winter.
So now I’m thinking in my head like damn I didn’t know he had a girl, why he talking to me, he must not be too happy with her if he entertaining me. Back then I was dumb and didn’t think about the outcome of certain situations. So I’m hanging out with Taz one day and I ended up giving him a hickey on his neck. It was kinda big and very noticeable because he was lightskin. It looked like he had a a big ole bruise on him. So one day as I’m walking to class I see them standing outside of class and she was crying into his shoulder while he was hurting her. I started to feel bad because of hurt she felt until later that same day Taz was right back with me. The way I looked at back then was that I had something she obliviously didn’t, but now I look at it as being dumb and naive.
So a few days go by and she figures out that I was the girl that Taz was with and just went left from there. She would past me and give me the nastiest look ever and I would give one right back. I would think why she mad at me, they must have not been to happy if he wanted me. The day comes where she decides she wants to be bold and confront me at my class. The funny part is that she didn’t have a 7th period, so she was just waiting for me to come to class. I walked past her and her friends to go set my things down at my seat and I walk back over by the door to her.
So I walk back over there and we started talking. She was like “you gave my boyfriend a hickey” and my smart ass was like “he let me so he let me so.” It kept getting more and more heated that his girl put her arm in between us. Winter decides she wants to get closer and closer until she was close up in my face so next thing I know we are fighting. I dont remember if she pushed me or I pushed her but fist started flying, hair was being pulled, people trying to break us up. She tried to throw me on the floor but ends up falling into the door. Finally the teachers came and I remember my teacher telling me to let go like three times but I’m so mad so im just griping on to Winter’s hair. After they break us up I pick up Winter’s hair and tell her she missing it. I was suspended for five days and had to go to court.
